Privacy policy
Privacy policy of Park Visit Organizer
Short version: everything you enter in Park Visit Organizer – sites, rounds, photos, bookings with customer details, equipment and supplies – is stored only on your phone. The app has no account, no adverts, no analytics and no internet access.
Who is responsible
The developer of Park Visit Organizer can be contacted at [email protected]. This address is used for support and for all privacy and data requests.
What the app stores
- Sites: names, address or directions, zones, checklist, opening hours and notes.
- Rounds: date, time, the name or initials you enter under “checked by”, check results, notes, tags and photos you choose to add.
- Bookings: date, time, area, the customer’s or group’s name, phone number and email address if you enter them, number of dogs, status and notes.
- Equipment, supplies with purchase prices in pounds, settings and a change history.
You type all of this in yourself. The app does not read your contacts, location, camera, microphone, calendar, call log or messages, and it uses no device or advertising identifiers.
Where it is stored
Only on your phone, in the app’s private storage. Photos are copied into the app’s own folder. The data is deleted when you delete it in the app (for example “Delete all data on this phone”), clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app. If you have Android’s device backup switched on, Android may include app data in your Google backup; this is controlled by your phone settings, not by the app.
What leaves your phone
Nothing is sent by the app: the published app has no permission to access the internet, no server and no third-party services. Data leaves your phone only when you choose to:
- when you share or save a PDF maintenance log, a CSV table, a text summary or a backup file through the Android share menu or folder picker – where it goes is up to you;
- when you tap “Call” or “Email” on a booking, which opens your own phone or email app with the number or address filled in;
- when you open a link to this website, which opens your browser.
Photos
Photos are chosen in the Android photo picker. The app receives only the photos you pick and has no camera or storage permission. A backup file includes photos only if you tick “Include photos”.
Customer details you enter
If you enter names, phone numbers or email addresses of your customers, you decide what is recorded and you are responsible for it as the person running the site. The app keeps these details on your phone only. They appear in exports only when you create them: the bookings CSV includes phone numbers and emails, the PDF log shows names but not contact details.
Permissions
The app asks for no permissions at runtime. It does not send notifications.
Analytics, adverts and tracking
None. There is no analytics or crash-reporting service, no advertising and no tracking. This website also uses no cookies, analytics or trackers.
Children
Park Visit Organizer is a work tool for adults who run dog parks and fields. It is not directed at children.
Your rights
Because your data is stored only on your phone and never reaches the developer, you can view, correct, export and delete it yourself in the app at any time. For any question about privacy, write to [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
If a future version changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change.
